Step 1 of 5
Type your idea on adorie.app
Open adorie.app in your browser. The home page's input box accepts a one-liner like "Make a landing page for my coffee shop". Hit Enter.
Create a new site
From blank canvas to live URL in under a minute — every action happens in the browser.
1
Open adorie.app
Sign in (Google one-tap or magic link). The home page input box is your first prompt.
2
Type what you want
One sentence is enough — "landing page for my dog-walking business" or "gomoku game I can play with a friend". Hit Enter.
3
Watch the preview build
The builder opens with chat on the left and a live preview on the right. As the AI generates HTML, the preview fills in — usually 20–60 seconds for the first draft.
4
Publish to *.adorie.app
Tap the black Publish button (top-right of the preview). Adorie auto-assigns a subdomain like brew-co.adorie.app and your site is live immediately.
Edit a site
Two ways to iterate. Mix them freely — both update the same project.
💬
By chat — describe the change
Type what you want: "make the hero darker", "add a testimonials section", "change the phone number to 555-0123". Adorie figures out which file + element to touch.
🎯
By click — Visual Edits mode
Toggle Visual Edits below the chat input. Hover the preview → elements outline in blue. Click one, type the change you want, hit Enter. Scopes the edit to that element only.
📋
Plan mode (optional)
Toggle Plan ⌘P to get a structured outline before any code is written. Approve the plan → it builds. Best for bigger ideas or when you want to nudge the structure.
Shortcut: ⌘ + P
⌨️
↑ / ↓ to walk prior prompts
Cursor on the first line of the input? Press ↑ to pull your previous prompt back in. ↓ goes forward. Same as a terminal — handy for tweaking a phrase you just sent.
✨
Suggestion chips
Above the input, contextual chips like "Add testimonials" appear based on what's actually on your page. Tap one to drop it into the input. Rotates each turn for variety.
⏹
Stop a runaway turn
The send button turns into a stop button while a turn is streaming. Tap it to cancel mid-generation — the partial preview stays, the request stops, no credit is wasted past what already streamed.
🎯 Visual Edits — the "click to change" mode
Best for tiny, surgical changes: a label rename, a button color, a copy tweak in one section. Adorie scopes the change to just that element so the rest of the page stays exactly the same.
1. Toggle Visual Edits below the chat input (or hover the preview's bottom-left toolbar).
2. Hover the preview — elements get a blue dashed outline. Click one. ⌘-click to select more than one.
3. The chip card shows Selected: <h2>. Type the change you want — "shorter", "red", "add an emoji".
4. Hit Enter. Adorie edits just that element. The preview updates in place.
💡 Cheap & fast. Visual Edits are 3 credits (vs. 10 for a new build) because Adorie only re-emits the affected slice of HTML. Use them liberally.
Write better prompts
The first draft is dramatically better when your prompt names a few specifics. Iterate from there.
Vague
Just typing one word or noun phrase makes Adorie guess.
"website" · "portfolio" · "build me something"
Better
Name who it's for, what it does, and one vibe word.
"Landing page for a Brooklyn coffee roaster — warm, minimal, dark mode."
Better
For interactive sites, name the mechanic too.
"Gomoku game I can play 1v1 on the same device, with an undo button."
Iterating
Once the first draft is up, keep changes small and specific. One change per message lands cleaner than three at once.
"Make the hero photo full-width" → "Now add a sticky nav" → "Change CTA copy to 'Order online'"
🚀 Publish & beyond
Tap Publish (top-right) to open the publish drawer. From there you can:
Subdomain — auto-assigned like brew-co.adorie.app. Tap the field to pick a custom slug.
Form submissions — any <form> Adorie generates auto-routes to your project's admin page. Open <your-subdomain>.adorie.app/admin to read submissions.
💰 What each action costs
New build — 10 credits per project (the first time it generates HTML for a brand-new project).
Edit turn — 3 credits per follow-up message that changes the site. Visual Edits, chat edits, modifications all share this rate.
Plan mode — the plan itself is free. The "Build this" turn that follows counts as the new-build (10 credits) since it's the first generation.
Chat-only turns — questions the AI answers without changing the site (e.g. "is the hero photo SEO-friendly?") skip the 3-credit charge.
Free plan covers your first website. See pricing.html for full credit math.
📱 Prefer texting? There's a chat-app flow too
You can also build entire sites by texting Adorie on WhatsApp or Telegram — no browser needed. Same engine, different surface.
