Connect your custom domain
from WhatsApp

You built a site by texting Adorie. Now point your own domain (like yourbrand.com) at it. Four taps in the app, one DNS record at your registrar, done.

Step 1 of 4
Get the project link in WhatsApp
After Adorie builds your site, it sends back a link like https://adorie.app/r/.... Tap it to open the editor.

Step-by-step

All four steps, in detail.

1

4

Copy the DNS record(s) and go to registrar like Godaddy etc.

Adorie shows two cards — an A record (root) and a CNAME (subdomain). The one matching what you typed is marked REQUIRED FOR YOUR DOMAIN. Tap Copy on Name + Value, paste them at your registrar. Add the other one too if you want both yourbrand.com and www.yourbrand.com to work.

📡 The DNS record (Step 4 in detail)

The exact record depends on whether you're using your root domain (hahanono.com) or a subdomain (www.hahanono.com). Adorie shows the exact values for your domain — here's the shape:

Option A — Root domain (needs an A record)
Type: A Name: @ # the root, e.g. hahanono.com Value: 76.76.21.21 # Vercel's anycast IP TTL: Auto (or 3600)
Option B — Subdomain like www (needs a CNAME)
Type: CNAME Name: www # or app, blog, shop, etc. Value: cname.vercel-dns.com TTL: Auto (or 3600)

Want both hahanono.com AND www.hahanono.com to work? Add both records. Most registrars apply DNS in 5–30 minutes. SSL is auto-provisioned — no extra steps.

⚠️ Delete conflicting records first. If your registrar already has an A record (or CNAME) at the same name pointing somewhere else (a parking page, an old host, GoDaddy's default), delete it before saving the new record. Two records for the same name will fight each other.

⚠️ GoDaddy gotchas worth knowing

Edit existing records — don't duplicate
GoDaddy ships every new domain with default A at @ (parking IP, e.g. 76.223.105.230) and CNAME at www (pointing to @). Use the ✏️ pencil to edit in place — adding duplicates makes DNS unpredictable.
Turn off Domain Forwarding
If you previously enabled GoDaddy's Forwarding feature (under Domain → Forwarding), disable it. Forwarding rewrites DNS behind the scenes and breaks the Vercel routing.
Don't touch NS or SOA records
You'll see NS records (e.g. ns03.domaincontrol.com) and an SOA record. Leave them alone — they tell the world which servers host your DNS, and changing them breaks everything.
Wait time + verification
GoDaddy DNS usually propagates within 30 minutes. If your site still doesn't load after an hour, check at dnschecker.org — paste your domain to see if the new records have propagated globally.
